What stays on your device

Draft quiz choices and bookmarks are saved in this browser under your account. Completed quiz answers and results are stored on our server for recovery and access control. We do not use advertising pixels or send your answers to an AI model.

When you use an account

We store your verified email, a salted and server-peppered password verifier (never the plaintext password), and essential session information. Verification codes expire after 10 minutes, allow up to five attempts and can be used once. Routine password sign-in sends no email. When you complete a quiz, we store its answers, character, theme and content version for cross-device recovery and to enforce purchase scope. Your first completed quiz uses your one free opportunity. Unfinished quizzes do not consume it. Saving the same theme and edition replaces its previous cloud answer set. Requesting a complete report also stores that answer set with a separate report snapshot. Browser-only bookmarks are not automatically uploaded. An optional display name is stored when you save it. Orders, purchase permissions and support requests are stored on our backend.

Service providers

Cloudflare provides hosting and database processing. Resend processes sign-in and access emails when email sign-in is enabled. Creem processes checkout and payment data; we do not receive full card details. Providers may process information across borders. Google Fonts receives normal typography requests.

Retention and your choices

Verification codes expire in 10 minutes; expired code records are cleaned after one day. Sessions expire after 30 days. Saved report history is available while the service operates and your access remains valid; you can print a copy. We will give notice and an export opportunity before a planned closure. You can change your password or delete your account in My account after confirming your current password. Account deletion removes account access, profile, quiz answers and reports. Order and refund records retain a pseudonymous account identifier for financial obligations. A keyed digest of your normalized email and the date your free quiz was used remain to prevent account deletion and re-registration from resetting the free allowance. You may contact support about privacy requests. Deleting an account ends its paid access and does not automatically issue a refund. Order and financial records may need to remain for applicable accounting or legal obligations. Account export is available under My purchases. Local bookmarks can be cleared independently.
